This is one of my favorite things to create year after year — A RAD Reading Challenge is back for 2023!

My thought process behind creating the nine prompts for this year was simple— what sounded fun, what would help me branch out and discover some new kinds of books, what would help me keep reading diversely and deeply and widely, and would would also appeal to a wide variety of readers with all kinds of interests!

Whether your goal is to read a few books or a few hundred, whether you’re stoked about reading or find it to be a struggle, it’s my hope that this challenge would be a fun encouragement to read more (even if that’s just a few pages more than you have before). I’ll be doing this reading challenge right alongside you, and it’s my goal to focus on books by diverse authors as much as I can to complete it. I hope you’ll join me!

You can print out the challenge by clicking the image or button below — you can write in the titles you have read (or what you’re planning on reading) as you go, paste in book cover photos, whatever you like!
