A RAD Summer Reading Guide for 2024

welcome to the 2024 rad summer reading guide, friends!

i am so excited about this year’s guide — it’s a really fun blend of book recs for all kinds of readers, and i implemented so many of your suggestions which makes it even better! plus, these recs aren’t just from me…

in the guide, you’ll find…

  • book recommendations to match your favorite shows (10 of them! with 6 books each!)

  • summer reads suggested by my bookish besties — bookstagrammers, booktokers, AUTHORS, and book lovers

  • books to match your mood, vibe, or location

  • over 100 suggestions! (MOST of them personally read and endorsed by me!)

  • BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ authors highlighted

  • notes on which books can be found on kindle unlimited

you can either flip through the guide digitally, download it, and/or print it out.

these pages are designed to fit in an A5 journal, so feel free to print, cut on the dotted lines, and paste in your bujo if that’s your style, or just add books to your library lists or shopping carts straight from the PDF.

i highly recommend checking out your local library to see what you can find there, or shopping local and supporting a fave indie bookstore if you’re wanting to buy a copy. if you’re an audiobook fan, here’s a shameless plug for libro.fm, where i’m an affiliate, and get my audiobooks every month (alongside the free libby app connected to my library card!). i’ve also noted with a 📱when books are available on kindle unlimited!

And new this year…

the guide is free if you would like it to be, but i would love to encourage you to make at least at $5 donation.

i won’t be pocketing a single cent, but will be giving all of the donations directly to a family in need of financial support in gaza through operation olive branch, and i would be so grateful for your support in that. while many of us have the privilege and luxury of spending more time this summer reading, people in the middle east are fighting for their lives in the middle of war zones, and the least we can do is show we see them and we care and we want them to be alive, safe, and healthy. giving a few dollars is an easy way to both show your support of me and the this cause that matters so much. thank you, thank you!
