rad collages nyt //
Every week since March 1, 2020, I have turned the Sunday New York Times paper into a collage spread in my journal.
This practice has been a welcome rhythm in my life, helping me to engage with the news in a manageable and meaningful way through reading and creating art.
These collages have become a time capsule of the world we’re living in, week after week, through the most unprecedented and challenging season of my life.

I love teaching workshops on newspaper collages.
These paid workshops typically include:
Conversation + Q&A about how I got started, how my collages went viral, how they led to my article being published in the NYT, etc
A provided supply list (which you could purchase for your members) and a take-home guide to collaging
Sharing tips, strategy, vision, etc for how to create collages (both similar to mine and of different styles)
Creating a collage alongside workshop members
I’ve always been a journaler, and have loved trying new things with my journals in the past year. I’ve experimented more with bullet journaling (getting more artsy/creative, essentially!) and with collaging, and wanted to share the supplies I’ve been using.
