Five Finds // Wednesday

Today’s finds include a Tinder-like app for your photos, free creative classes, poetry, and more!

Here are Wednesday’s five finds:

An app to use:

Flic is an app that acts like Tinder but for your photos — you’ll see one picture from your camera roll at a time, and you can either choose to swipe left to delete it or right to keep it. If you, like me, have thousands of photos on your phone that you never sort through or clean out, this is a really fun way to do that!

Classes to take:

Brit + Co. is offering all of their online creative classes for free with the code “SELFCARE” through March 31— there are options ranging from digital fashion illustration to phone photography to watercolors and hand lettering and more. Definitely worth checking out — you can learn a new hobby and get creative all for free! Win-win-win.

An article to check out:

The new book you should read, according to your favorite flowers — I’m here for articles like this. Flowers + books = two of my favorite things. Plus, you’ll get a great book rec out of it! (ps— if you’re buying books, order them from your local/indie store!!!)

A show to binge:

Glow Up was a random Netflix find for me, but I loved it. It’s perfect binge watching, a makeup artist competition complete with dramatic looks, quirky competitors, British accents, and fun challenges. I’m such a basic makeup user, and I was fascinated by what these people could do with makeup! It’s a fun watch.

A poem to read:

I loved “Praise the Rain” by Joy Harjo and encourage you to read it. I love poetry all the time, but especially in times when I need little doses of hope and beauty. This has both.
