A Shop Small Gift Guide Featuring My Friends' + Followers' Businesses
I love putting together all kinds of gift guides, but this one was extra special, as it features friends and followers of mine and the small businesses they run! These goodies are all created by people I know (either personally or have connected with virtually) and I think they’re incredible.
Here are some great gift ideas from my friends’ small businesses:
Wreaths from Gathered Floral Co. // These are limited edition and local to RVA, so hurry! Katie and Katelin create incredible floral arrangements and I love that they branched out (get it?!).
Clay jewelry from Bluejay & Co. // My friends Paige and Carly create incredible clay pieces (and I think a heard a rumor candles are coming?!) that I can’t get enough of.
Book sleeves from Happy Go Lovely // These beauties Rachel makes (that come in several sizes and so many different patterns) and will keep your books safe and sound in all their travels.
Beanies from Accroché // Sarah is so talented and her crocheted winter wear is amazing!
Art print from Sunday Table Co. // Emilie and Virginia went to my alma mater, JMU, and I’ve loved following their art endeavors ever since! This print is my fave.
Mug from Claire Parrish Pottery // I met Claire at a local theatre event and we soon found out we had mutual friends, and although she’s since moved away, I loved looking for her and her work at local Richmond art fairs and markets!
Fiber art from Sarah Dolislager // Sarah is one of the most diversely talented friends I know— from her fiber art to her art prints to embroidery to collages… she does it all. It’s amazing.
Postcards from Sarah Dolislager // See?! Told you she’s talented.
Wall hanging from Accroché // You thought beanies were cool? Look at this wall hanging! So good!
Handmade earrings from By Bay Jewelry // Abbi makes AMAZING earrings, all named after literary characters, and I don’t even want to confess how many pairs I own.
Stickers from Bre Puryear // The art this girl creates is beautiful and heartfelt, and I have several of her stickers adorning things I own!
Season’s Readings box from The Bookshelf // A great, readymade box for the book lovers in your life. Annie is a real life Kathleen Kelly and I love following along with her adventures of owning a bookshop!
Nativity from The Family Room Laytonsville // I just recently discovered this cute shop an Instagram follower, Corinne, owns with her mom, and I love it!
Ornaments from Rose Lettering Co. // My IG friend Helen shared her Etsy shop with me, and that hand lettering!!! I swoon.
T-shirt from Bookshelf Tees // I discovered Lauren’s shop through Abbi’s shop, and yep, I now own quite a few of her shirts.
Art prints from See the Good Shop // I’ve known Tracey a long time, and love that she’s started a new shop of art prints!
Handmade mug from Quips & Clay // I found Connor’s pottery through Instagram, and have since added a mug to my collection from her, and can’t wait to add more.
The Curious Year calendar from A Little Something Goods // Kait creates whimsical, fun, colorful art, and this calendar is so great.
Roses art print from Jackie Koenig Painting // Jackie is such a prolific artist, and I’m constantly in awe of what she can create with paint. Fun fact: I once attended a creative workshop she was part of and I took her painting breakout session… yeah, it didn’t go well. ;) I’ll let her be the painter!
Hand woven goods from Little Woven Home Co. // This was another discovery thanks to IG, and I love it.
