My Favorite DIY Face Mask
I’m all about a good face mask moment (TREAT YO SELF) and this one is super cheap, easy, refreshing, and amazing! Let’s keep this short and sweet so you can get to mixing, applying, and relaxing…
DIY Face Mask:
1 tsp Indian healing clay (you can get 2 pounds of this stuff for $15 bucks here!)
1 tsp organic apple cider vinegar (get Bragg’s brand, always!) - you could use water for a more mild mask instead!
1 drop frankincense (mine came in my starter kit!)
Mix all ingredients in PLASTIC or glass, never using metal! (Srsly.) I use this handy dandy little face mask set to whip up mine. Then, apply with either your hands or a plastic spreader, let dry (it gets a little tingly and bubbly (which I love) and then will harden and the color will change slightly! Leave it on for about 20ish minutes (not an exact science) and then wash off with warm water. Moisturize, or apply a serum or oil blend or whatever, and you’re good to glow!
Some perks and such:
Bentonite clay helps remove toxins from your skin, removes metals from the body/skin, adds nutrients to your skin since it includes iron, magnesium, sodium, calcium, and potassium, helps treat and clear acne (my few breakout areas were MUCH BETTER this morning after doing this last night!), exfoliates skin, evens skin tone, etc.
Apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial and antifungal properties, helps balance the pH level of your skin, tones your skin, has anti-aging qualities, etc.
Frankincense is great for helping maintain radiant skin, helps smooth the look of healthy skin, smells heavenly and grounding, etc.
